I never thought I would be able to wear my reba dress again. I was just about to buy a new one, but I was already in the middle of an argument with my sister. I was so hurt. It just felt like an injustice. After the argument, I decided I needed to learn how to make my own. I began by making a list of all the things I needed to do to my reba dress, and I was able to do those things with my own hands.
I know, I know. Rebas are pretty hard to come by, especially for those who have never worn one. I would probably have to beg my sister for a reba dress in return, but then I wouldn’t be able to wear it either.
I have no doubt, reba dresses can be as expensive as a pair of shoes. I had to find a way to make my own without having to beg. I made a list of everything I needed to do to my reba dress, and went to work. I have a very sharp knife, lots of yarn, and a pair of scissors. I started working on my reba dress by cutting out the basic pieces.
You’ll likely need to spend some time in the library and get a little piece of paper and a pen to work on. I don’t think I need to do anything else. I think I need help making a few notes on a few things. I can probably make a short list of things I want to do. I also look at my paper, and I think I should go to a book store and find something on a page that could help me make notes to make later on.
I do NOT need to spend any more time on my reba dress. As soon as my mind wanders to the fact that I am using a pair of scissors to cut a piece of yarn and a pair of scissors to cut some yarn, I will stop. If I do use scissors, I will simply cut the yarn and put the cut on my body. I dont need to think about it. I know what I want to cut.
I understand the fear that a dress with a bunch of tiny stitches looks like the beginning of a horror movie, but as it turns out, reba’s dresses are actually pretty cool. While reba’s dresses are usually made from all-over yarn, they’re actually made from very few stitches. Some of these yarns are very delicate, so a lot of the time, you’ll only need to cut the fabric and not cut the yarn.
