I had the pleasure of working with this woman many years ago and she is an incredible human being and an inspiration to all of us. Her story is too short to ever let anyone forget, but the story of her life is just as important and life changing as the story of hers. She has touched the lives of so many others with the way she leads, motivates, and guides others.

She has been active in many different fields and is passionate about the arts, the sciences, and the humanities. She is married to a prominent scholar and was a teacher at the University of California, Riverside and she is also the mother of a son.

While at UC Riverside, Erika also completed her Master’s degree in history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
